ಇದು ಯಕ್ಷ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನಗಾಥೆಯ ಅನಾವರಣ... ಇಂದಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಯಕ್ಷಸಾಧಕರು.. ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ಬಾಗವತ..."ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಾಡಿತು ಕೋಗಿಲೆ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ" ಸದಾಶಿವ ಅಮೀನ್ ಕೊಕ್ಕರ್ಣೆ.... ಇವರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕೊಕ್ಕರ್ಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶುಕ್ರ ಬಂಗೇರ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತುಂಗಾ ಮರಕಾಲ್ತಿಯವರ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ:22.06.1967ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು... ತನ್ನ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಕ್ಕರ್ಣೆ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಇವರು,ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಕಲಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು..ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ನೀಲಾವರ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣಯ್ಯ,ಮಹಾಬಲ ಕಾರಂತರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆರಂಜಾಲು ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ಗಾಣಿಗರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ತಾಳ,ಶ್ರುತಿ,ಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರು...ನಂತರ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರು ಮರಿಯಪ್ಪ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ,ಕೋಡಿ ಶಂಕರ ಗಾಣಿಗ,ದಿ.ಮೊಳಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹೆರಿಯ ನಾಯ್ಕ,ಹಳ್ಳಾಡಿ ಜಯರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರಂತ ಘಟಾನುಘಟಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಾಂಗತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರನಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ,ಬಾಲಸುದೀರ,ಭಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಪೀಠಿಕೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀವೇಷಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು..ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಾಲಿಗ್ರಾಮ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದ ಇವರು ದಿ. ಕಾಳಿಂಗ ನಾವಡರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರನಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು..ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದ ಇವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು..ನಂತರ ಪುನಃ ಭೋಜರಾಜ ಹೆಗಡೆಯವರ ಯಜಮಾನಿಕೆಯ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಭಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು...ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಒಂದು ಮೇಳವಿರುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ರಂಗಮಂಚವೇರಿದ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಬಾಜನರಾದ ಹಿರಿಮೆ ಇವರದ್ದು... ನಂತರ ಸಾಲಿಗ್ರಾಮ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಪುನಃ ಸಹಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡ ಇವರು ದಿ.ಕಾಳಿಂಗ ನಾವಡರ ಅಚ್ಚುಮೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ,ಅವರ ಸಾಂಗತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಂಗನಡೆಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕರಗತ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು...ನಂತರ ನಾವಡರ ನಿಧನದ ನಂತರ ಸಾಲಿಗ್ರಾಮ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದ ಇವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಸೌಕೂರು ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು..ನಂತರ ಶಿರಿಯಾರ ಮುದ್ದಣ್ಣ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರ ಯಜಮಾನಿಕೆಯ ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಡೇರೆ ಮೇಳವಾದ ಶಿರಸಿ ಮಾರಿಕಾಂಬಾ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು...ಮಲ್ಪೆ ವಾಸುದೇವ ಸಾಮಗ,ಕೆಪ್ಪೆಕೆರೆ ಮಹಾದೇವ ಹೆಗಡೆ,ಅಂಬಾಪ್ರಸಾದ ಪಾತಾಳ,ಕುಂಜಾಲು ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಶಂಕರ ಬಾಗವತ ಯಲ್ಲಾಪುರ, ರಾಕೇಶ ಮಲ್ಯ,ಗೋಡೆ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ನಿಟ್ಟೂರು ಅನಂತ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಯಕ್ಷದಿಗ್ಗಜರಿಂದ ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಗಜಗಟ್ಟಿ ಮೇಳವೆನಿಸಿದ ಶಿರಸಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಥ ರಂಗನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು...ಕೇವಲ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮರ ಮಂಜರಿ,ಮಧುರ ಮಂಜರಿ,ಸ್ವಪ್ನಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ,ಮಧುಮಾಲತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಸಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಪ್ರಸಂಗಕರ್ತರಾಗಿಯೂ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು...ಇವರು ಬರೆದ ಸ್ವಪ್ನ ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಪ್ರಸಂಗ ಮಲ್ಪೆ ವಾಸುದೇವ ಸಾಮಗರ ದಕ್ಷ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿರಸಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿತಲ್ಲದೆ,ಶತದಿನಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿ ಪ್ರಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿತು.... ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಯುಗಪ್ರವರ್ತಕ ದಿ.ಕಾಳಿಂಗ ನಾವಡರ ನಿಧನದ ನಂತರ ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಆಶಾಕಿರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಇವರು ನಂತರದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ರಂಗವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಫೈನಾನ್ಸ್ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನುಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.... ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ಹೈದರಾಬಾದಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮಾರಣಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣಮೂರ್ತಿ ಮಂಜರ ಹೋಟೆಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಷಿಯರ್ ಆಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತನಕ ದುಡಿದರು...ನಂತರ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಬೇಕರಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು...2015ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶೋಕ ಕುಂದರ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕೊಕ್ಕರ್ಣೆ ಕ್ರಿಯೇಟಿವ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾದರ ಜಲವಳ್ಳಿಯವರ ಕಲಾಧರ ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಳಗದ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಒತ್ತಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಣಿದು ಧಾರಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಳೆಯ ಮದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಂಗಳ ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ,ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವೆನಿಸಿದ ಸಮರ್ಥ ಬಾಗವತರೆಂದು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು...ಮುಂದೆ 2016ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಮೇಳದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡ ಇವರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿಯ ಕಲಾಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಮರಳಿ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಅಶೋಕ ಕುಂದರ್, ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿವರ್ಗ ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದ ಸಹ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಪ್ರೀತಿ,ಅಭಿಮಾನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹರ್ಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಇವರು,ಮರಳಿ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ತನ್ನ ವೃತಿಬದುಕಿನ ಮಿತ್ರರಾದ ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಮಯ್ಯರು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ... 2019ರಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಕರ ಕುಂದರ್ ಇವರ ಸಹಬಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮಹಾಗಣಪತಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಮಂಡಳಿ ನಡೂರು ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಎಂಬ ಯಕ್ಷಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ಮಳೆಗಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಬಾಗವತರ ಪಂಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇವರು, ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕವಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಗ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ದಿ.ಡಾ.ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೆಹಲಿ,ಭೂಪಾಲ್, ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್,ಮುಂಬೈ,ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಕಲಾ ಪ್ರೌಢಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಶುಭವಿವಾಹ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂಟಿಸಲಗ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಹುಮುಖ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಸಾಧಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಅಪಾರವಾದ ರಂಗಾನುಭವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಇವರು, ತಾಳ ರಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಚಿತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಗನಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಖರವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಸುಮಧುರ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಶ್ರಾವ್ಯ ಕಂಠಸಿರಿಯಿಂದ ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಸಂಗಳಾದ ಶನೀಶ್ವರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆ,ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆ,ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿಮಹಾತ್ಮೆ,ರಾಜಯಯಾತಿ, ಶಶಿಪ್ರಭಾ ಪರಿಣಯ,ಬೇಡರ ಕಣ್ಣಪ್ಪ,ಚಂದ್ರಹಾಸಚರಿತ್ರೆ,ಚಕ್ರವ್ಯೂಹ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಪ್ರಸಂಗಳಾದ ನಾಗಶ್ರೀ,ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿ ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚೆಲುವೆ ಚಿತ್ರಾವತಿಯ ಪದ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಗಾನಸಿರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ರಂಜಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ಮೇರು ಬಾಗವತರು... ಕೊಕ್ಕರ್ಣೆ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಂ ಮಾದರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಳೆವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ,ಹಲವಾರು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ,ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು,ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ,ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ

🌀💥🌀 This is the exhibition of the achievements and life of yakshaartists... Today's yakshakas are.. The elder bagvata of badgutitta..."Again singing cuckoo fame" Sadashiv Amin Kokkarne.... He was born on 22.06.1967 as son of Sri Venuskhera Bankera and Smt. Tunga Marakalti in Kokkarne in Brahmavar taluk of Udupi district. He completed his education till eighth standard at Kokkarne Government High School and joined the Udupi Yakshagana Kendra at the age of fourteen to study Yakshagana. He received knowledge of yakshagana tala, shruti, rhythm and footprint for a year from the gurus Neelavara Ramakrishnayya, Mahabala Karanth and Heranjalu Venkataramana Ganiga. Later he joined the Mandarti Mela and served as a musician for a year in association with veteran artistes like Nellore Mariappa Acharya, Kodi Shankar Ganiga, D. Molahalli Heri, Haladi Jayaram Shetty and performed the dresses of balasudira, bhakta prahlada and preamble. From there he went to Saligramam Mela. Kalinga served as a musician for two years with Nawada. Later, he went to kamalashila mela as the chief minister and served there for two years. Then again he joined the Mandarthi Mela under the ownership of Bhojaraja Hedgewer as the principal Bhagavata... He was credited with being the chief guest at the age of twenty at the time when The Mandarti was a mela. Later, he joined the Saligramam Mela and became the favourite of D.Kalinga Navada and mastered the art of rangada in his company. After the death of Nawada, he left Saligramam Mela and joined Saukur Mela as the chief bhagavatar and served for one year. Then he joined the siriyara muddanna shetty's famous tent mela, The Marikamba Mela. Malpe Vasudeva Samaga, Keppekere Mahadev Hegde, Ambaprasad Patala, Kunjalu Ramakrishna, Shankar Agavata Yelapura, Rakesh Malya, GoddeSanarayana Hegde, Nittoor Anantha Hegde and others served as the principal bagavatha and competent director for two years in the Sirishri mela. He also wrote episodes like Immortal Manjari, Madhura Manjari, Dream Mangalya, Madhumalathi and Padma Shri. His dream mangala episode was directed by Malpe Vasudeva Samagar a great success at The Siriyasi Mela and has been experimented for more than a century.

After the death of Yakshagana era pioneer D. Kalinga Navada, he left the yakshagana field and started the hotel business and finance business in Bangalore. He suffered a huge loss in business and went to Hyderabad and joined the Marankate Krishnamurti Manjara Hotel as a cashier and worked there for a few years. Then he came to Hubli and started the bakery business... In 2015, the Kokkarne Creative Club, led by Ashok Kunder, was held at the Yakshagana Of Vidyadar Jalavalli's Kaladhara Yaksha Gana, which was held in 2015, and sang the mangal apocalypse in the rainy drink singing and the modern age as a capable person. Later, he joined the Mandarti Mela in 2016 and has been doing sridevi's art service for four years. ಇದು ಯಕ್ಷ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನಗಾಥೆಯ ಅನಾವರಣ.... ಇಂದಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಯಕ್ಷಸಾಧಕರು ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರ ಯಳಬೇರುಶೇಖರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು .. ನವರಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯತೆ ಬಹು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು...ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹಲವು ಜಂಜಾಟದ ಮದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ,ಸಂತೋಷದ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ಹಾಸ್ಯವು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸುಹೊಕ್ಕಾಗಿದೆ... ತಾನು ನಗದೆ ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಗಿಸುತ್ತ, ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿರಪರಿಚಿತರಾದ ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರು "ನಗೆಗಡಲ ನಾವಿಕ"ಯಳಬೇರು ಶೇಖರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು.... ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ತಾವಟೆಹಕ್ಲು ಎಂಬ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣಪಯ್ಯ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಚ್ಚಮ್ಮನವರ ಪುಣ್ಯಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ 1968ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು... ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿ,ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮಹಾಬಲ ದೇವಾಡಿಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು,ದಿ. ಎಂ.ಎಂ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರ ಯಜಮಾನಿಕೆಯ ಮಾರಣಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಕಟ್ಟಿದರು..ಬಾಲಗೋಪಾಲ, ಒಡ್ಡೋಲಗದ ವೇಷಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತ,ಹಾಸ್ಯಭೂಮಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟರು.. ಎಂ.ಎಂ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರ ಯಜಮಾನಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ವಾಡಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಕಲಾಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಮಾರಣಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮಾರಣಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೇಳದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರಾಗಿರುವ ಇವರು ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರು... ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚ್ಯುತಿ ಬಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ, ರಂಗದ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮೀರದೆ,ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಾಮಿಶ್ರಿತವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ,ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಗೆಗಡಲಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ಇವರು,ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮತ್ತು ಅಶ್ಲೀಲವಾದ ಶಬ್ದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟವರಲ್ಲ.ತನ್ನ ಹಾವಭಾವ, ನಡೆನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಚಾಕಚಕ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಇವರು,ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗ ಕಂಡ ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಹಾಸ್ಯನಟರು. ಐರ್ಬೈಲು ಆನಂದ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೋಡಿ ವೇಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಇವರು ಕೀಚಕ ವದೆಯ ವಿಜಯ,ನಳದಮಯಂತಿಯ ಬಾಹುಕ,ದಕ್ಷಯಜ್ಞದ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ,ನಾಗಶ್ರೀಯ ಕೈರವ,ಗದಾ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಬೆಹೀನಚರ, ಕಂಸವದೆಯ ರಾಜರಜಕ,ಚಿತ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣದ ಅಜ್ಜಿ,ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕದ ಮಂಥರೆ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ..ಮಾರಣಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮಂಜನ ವೇಷಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಹಾಸ್ಯಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ,ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಮರೆಯದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗುರುತು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ತನ್ನ ಮಳೆಗಾಲದ ತಿರುಗಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮುಂಬೈ,ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಹಲವು ಸನ್ಮಾನ, ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ದೊರೆತಿವೆ.. ಐರ್ಬೈಲು ಆನಂದ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ,ಗೋಳಿಕೆರೆ ಚಂದ್ರ ಗೌಡರು,ದಿ.ಮೊಳಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹೆರಿಯ ನಾಯ್ಕ,ದಿ. ನೀಲಾವರ ಮಹಾಬಲ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಉಮೇಶ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಧಾಕರ ಕೊಠಾರಿಯವರನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇವರು ಅಪಾರವಾದ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿಯವರನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರನು ಸುಖ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಾರದ ಶುಭಹಾರೈಕೆ... ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ:ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ:ಅಮೃತ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ This is an exhibition of the achievements and life of yakshaartists....
