ಇದು ಯಕ್ಷಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನಗಾಥೆಯ ಅನಾವರಣ.. ಇಂದಿನ ನಮ್ಮಯಕ್ಷಸಾಧಕರು.. ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮಹಾಬಲ ದೇವಾಡಿಗರು... ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದ ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಸ್ಯಭೂಮಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಬದ್ದ ರಾಜಹಾಸ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಿರಪರಿಚಿತರಾದ ಮೇರು ಕಲಾವಿದ ಹಾಸ್ಯದರಸು ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮಹಾಬಲ ದೇವಾಡಿಗರು.... ಶ್ರೀಯುತರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ತಟ್ಟೆಗುಳಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜು ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ಕಯ್ಯ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಸುಪುತ್ರನಾಗಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ:10.10.1955ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು... ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ,ಆಜ್ರಿ ಎಂಬ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳು ಮೂಲತಃ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಲೆಯ ತವರೂರು... ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲೂ ಕೇಳಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಚಂಡೆಮದ್ದಲೆಗಳ ನಾದನಿನಾದಗಳಿಂದ ಆಕರ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿ,ತನ್ನ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಲಾಂಜಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಇವರು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಲಾಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು...ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ದಶಾವತಾರಿ ದಿ.ವೀರಭದ್ರ ನಾಯ್ಕರು,ನೀಲಾವರ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣಯ್ಯನವರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಮದ್ದಳೆವಾದಕರಾದ ಹಿರಿಯಡ್ಕ ಗೋಪಾಲರಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯ ತಾಳ ಮತ್ತು ಲಯಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಸಿಸಿ,ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಕಟ್ಟಿ ರಂಗಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡಿದರು...ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತ ಹಿರಿಯ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಂಡ್ಸೆ ನಾಗಯ್ಯ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವಪ್ಪ ಗಾಣಿಗರಿಂದ ಹಾಸ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಾತುಗಾರಿಕೆ,ಹಾವಭಾವ,ನಾಟ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಕರಗತಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರಾಗಿ ರೂಪುಗೊಂಡರು... ತನ್ನ ಕಲಾಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ನಲ್ವತೆ0ಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಇವರು,ಉಡುಪಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ,ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಮಾರಣಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಾಸೇವೆಗೈಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.... ಗಾಂಭೀರ್ಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯರಸವಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಚಾರವನ್ನು ಬಯಸದೆ ಎಲೆಮೆರೆಯ ಕಾಯಿಯಂತೆ ಕಲಾಸೇವೆ ಗೈಯುತ್ತ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಇವರು ಯಳಬೇರು ಶೇಖರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ,ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಆನಂದ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಗೋಳಿಕೆರೆ ಚಂದ್ರ ಗೌಡ,ಕಾನ್ಕಿ ಸುಧಾಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ,ತನ್ನ ಜೀವನದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಅನೇಕ ಕಲಾವಿದರರಿಗೆ ಗುರುವಾಗಿ,ತನ್ನ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ದಾರೆಯೆರೆದಿದ್ದು,ಹಲವಾರು ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಕ್ಷ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಿರತವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ಕೊರ್ಗು ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರ ಛಾಪನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇವರು ಕುಂಜಾಲು ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣರಂತೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗಿಮಿಕ್ ಮಾಡದೆ,ಹಾಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿರೂಪಗೊಳಿಸದೆ,ತನ್ನದೇ ಸಾಂಪ್ರಾದಾಯಿಕ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧ ರಾಜಹಾಸ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇರು ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರು... ದೈನಂದಿನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳನ್ನು,ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಸ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಳಿತಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಚಾಕಚಕ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಇವರು ತನ್ನ ಹಾವಭಾವ,ರಂಗನಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಟ್ಯಶೈಲಿಯಿಂದಲೆ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ನಗೆಗಡಲಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರು.... ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಹಾಸ್ಯಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅನುಭವದ ಆಗರವಾಗಿ,ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಸಾಗರವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇವರು ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾತುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಸ್ಯರಸಪೂರಿತವಾದ ನಾಟ್ಯಾಭಿನಯದಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೆ ಉಳಿದವರಲ್ಲ...ಇವರ ನಳದಮಯಂತಿಯ ಬಾಹುಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಣ್ಣ ವಿಜಯ ಗುಣಸುಂದರಿಯ ಪಾಪಣ್ಣನ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಜನಮಾನಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪುಟವಾದ ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ...ಭೀಷ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯ ಕಂದರ,ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆಯ ಸುದೇವ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ,ಚಂದ್ರಾವಳಿ ವಿಲಾಸದ ಚಂದಗೋಪ, ಶೂರ್ಪನಖಾ ವಿವಾಹದ ವಿದ್ಯುಜಿಹ,ಲವಕುಶ ಕಾಳಗದ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ,ಪಟ್ಟಾಭಿಷೇಕದ ಮಂಥರೆ, ಕಂಸವದೆಯ ರಾಜರಜಕ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವೇಷಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತ ಕಡೆದಿಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚಳಿಯದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗುರುತು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಕರಾವಳಿ,ಮಲೆನಾಡು, ಉತ್ತರಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬಾಗದಲ್ಲಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ,ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಹೈದಾರಬಾದ್,ಮುಂಬೈ,ದೆಹಲಿ, ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೊದಲಾದ ಬಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ,ಅಪಾರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮನ್ನಣೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾದ ಇವರು,ಉಡುಪಿ ಕಲಾರಂಗ(ರಿ) ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ,ಬಾಗವತ ಗೋರ್ಪಾಡಿ ವಿಠಲ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ,ಆರ್ಗೋಡು ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಶ್ಯಾನುಭೋಗ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ದಿ.ಅರಾಟೆ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು 1974ರಲ್ಲಿ ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯಿಂದ ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ಪಾತ್ರದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗಾಗಿ ದಿ.ಶಿವರಾಮ ಕಾರಂತರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚಿನ ಪದಕವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸಾಂಸಾರಿಕ ಬದುಕು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಾವಲಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಶಿಸ್ತು,ಸರಳತೆ, ಸೌಜನ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆದರ್ಶಪ್ರಾಯರಾಗಿರುವ ಇವರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಮಲಾರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತ ವೈವಾಹಿಕ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ಅರುಣ,ವೀಣಾ,ಕಿರಣ ಎನ್ನುವ ಮೂರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಹೆಮ್ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕಟ್ ಬೆಲ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಇವರಿಗೆ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಬಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು,ಆಯುರಾರೋಗ್ಯ ಸುಖ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಆ ಜಗನ್ಮಾತೆ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿಯು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿ..ಎನ್ನುವ ಶುಭಹಾರೈಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ.... 🌀ಯಕ್ಷ💥ಮಂದಾರ🌀 ಬಳಗ..🙏 ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ: ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ... ನಿರೂಪಣೆ: ಅಮೃತ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ.......

🌀💥🌀 This is an exhibition of the achievements and life of yakshaganaartists. Today's yakshaganas are.. The famous comedian Kamalashila Mahabal Adewadi... The great artist, known for his orthodox royal humor in the yakshagana's humour, was the great artist of kamalashile mahabaladewadhi. Mr. Manju Devadiga and Akkaiah were born on 10.10.1955 at Tateguli near Kamalashila in Kundapur taluk of Udupi district. Kamalashila, Ajri villages are originally the home of Yakshagana art... As night fell, he was attracted to the sounds of yakshagana chandemadalas and joined the Yakshagana Art Centre in Udupi. The guru, Dasavatari D.Veerbhadra Naik, Neelavara Ramakrishnayya and the famous madalaka gopalaraya, studied the full yakshagana tala and rhythm of yakshagana and entered the stage at Sri Kshetra Kamalashila Mela. He was a full-fledged comedian, mastering the humorous, gestureand dance practice of the veteran comedian, Vandse Nagaiah Shetty and Devappa Ganiga. He has served for a long period of time in his artcareer, has served for a year at Udupi Yakshagana Kendra, after serving for seven years at Kamalashila Mela and has been in the mandarti mela for thirty years continuously. He has shown that he has a sense of humor and has dedicated himself to yakshagana, like a leafy nut, and has been a teacher of many artistes throughout his life, including Yalaberu Sekhar Shetty, Kamalashila Ananda Dewadiga, Golikere Chandra Gowda, Kanki Sudhakar Shetty, and has been a teacher of many institutions and has been working continuously to bring yaksha to the next generation. Haladi Korgu, a famous comedian of Badgutitt, has impressed the humorists in life and has gained popularity with his own traditional style of disciplined humor without making any fun of his comedy like Kunjalu Ramakrishna. He is a brilliant comic who can mix everyday social situations beautifully in to neat humour and make the audience laugh with his gestures, theatre and dance. He is known as an ocean of knowledge and experience in the yakshagana comedy world and has not been behind in giving justice to any humorous character with his scholarly speech and humorous dance. His naladamayanti's bahuka and papanna vijaya gunasundari's roles have created a beautiful picture of the people. The bhishma swearing trench, the sudeva brahmin of the kshetra mahatma, chandravali vilasa chandagopa, the vidujiha of the shurpanakha marriage, valmiki of the lavakusha battle, the manthre of the coronation, the king of kansavade, etc. have made a stride in the yaksharanga.

He has been recognized for his talent in the coastal areas of Karnataka, Not only in North Karnataka but also in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Mysore and other places, and has been recognized by many fans, including udupi kalaranga (R) award, Bagwatha Gorpadi Vithal Patil Award, Argodu Ramchandra Sanyubhog Foundation Award, D.Arate Manjunatha Memorial Award and Abhimanyu's performance in 1974 by the Music Academy of Delhi. She is exemplary in domestic life and art, and has three children Arun, Venugopal and Raya, who live in Amarnath, Katbeltoor near Hemmadi. ಇದು ಯಕ್ಷಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನಗಾಥೆಯ ಅನಾವರಣ. ಇಂದಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಯಕ್ಷಸಾಧಕರು. ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪಾತ್ರದಾರಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುಮೂರ್ತಿ ಬಾಸ್ರಿಯವರು... ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ರಂಗದ ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಕೆಯ ಬಯಲಾಟದ ಮೇಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪಾತ್ರದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ವೇಷಗಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದರಾಗಿ ತನ್ನದೇ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗುರುತು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಲ್ಲಿ ಖ್ಯಾತನಾಮರಾದವರು ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ವಿಷ್ಣುಮೂರ್ತಿ ಬಾಸ್ರಿಯವರು. ಇವರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕುಂಜಾಲಿನ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಬಾಸ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅಮ್ಮನವರ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸುಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಮಡಿವಂತ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಮನೆತನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಇವರು,ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಸೆಳೆತಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ,ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಯಕ್ಷಕಲಾಮಾತೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು. ಉಡುಪಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಥ ಯಕ್ಷಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ನೀಲಾವರ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣಯ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆರಂಜಾಲು ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ಗಾಣಿಗರ ಗರಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಳಗಿ ಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕರಗತ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರು..ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಲೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಮಿತವಾದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಪಾಠಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಗುರುಗಳಿಬ್ಬರ ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾಗಿ ಯಕ್ಷರಂಗದ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದರು. ಮೂಲ್ಕಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಕಟ್ಟಿ ಬಾಲಗೋಪಾಲ ವೇಷದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ರಂಗಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡಿದ ಇವರು,ನಂತರ ಕೋಟ ಅಮೃತೇಶ್ವರಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಖಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀವೇಷದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು..ನಂತರ ಕಮಲಶಿಲೆ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದ ಇವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀವೇಷಧಾರಿಯಾದರು...ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸೌಕೂರು ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಕಾಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ವೇಷದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಅಭಿನಯದಿಂದ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು...ಸೌಕೂರು ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಕೋಡಿ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ ಗಾಣಿಗ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಟ ಸುರೇಶರ ಸಾಂಗತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿನ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು... ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪಾತ್ರಕೋಪ್ಪುವ ಒನಪು ವೈಯಾರದ ರಂಗನಡೆ,ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ಪನ್ನಮತಿತ್ವ,ಪಾತ್ರಕೋಪ್ಪುವ ಆಳಾಂಗ, ಸುಸ್ವರದ ಕಂಠಸಿರಿ,ಹಿತಮಿತವಾದ ಮಾತು,ಸುಂದರವಾದ ವೇಷಭೂಷಣ, ಮಾದಕ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದ ಮುಖಚರ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಡಗಿನ ಬೆಡಗಿನ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ಕೊಂಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರು ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದರು.... ವೀರರಸದ ಕಸೆವೇಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಇವರ ಆಳಾಂಗ,ಸ್ವರತ್ರಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ದ್ರೌಪತಿ ಪ್ರತಾಪದ ದ್ರೌಪತಿ,ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣದ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ,ಮದನಾಕ್ಷಿ,ತಾರಾವಳಿ,ಆಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಹಸ್ತಿ,ಸುಭದ್ರೆ,ಪದ್ಮಗಂಧಿನಿ,ಪ್ರಮೀಳೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ವೇಷಗಳ ಸಮರ್ಥ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪಾರ ಜನಮನ್ನಣೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ..ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಚೌಕಟನ್ನು ಮೀರದೆ ಚಾಕಚಕ್ಯತೆಯಿಂದ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ಇವರು, ಸೀತೆ,ಸಾವಿತ್ರಿಚಂದ್ರಮತಿ, ರುಚಿಮತಿ,ಮಂಡೋದರಿ,ಗಿರಿಜೆ,ದಮಯಂತಿ, ದಾಕ್ಷಾಯಿಣಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರತ್ರಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ಪನ್ನಮತಿತ್ವದಿಂದ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಬಡಗಿನ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಜನಮಾನಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೀರಿದ ಮೇರು ಕಲಾವಿದರಿವರು... ಜೋಡಾಟದಲ್ಲೂ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆ ಎದುರಾದಾಗ ಎರಡು ಮೂರು ವೇಷಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ,ಎದುರು ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮರ್ಥ ಪೈಪೋಟಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸೈ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಇವರು,ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣದ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾದ ಅಭಿನಯದಿಂದ ಜೋಡಾಟ ಪ್ರೀಯರ ಮನಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪಾತ್ರದಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇವರು ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆಯ ದೇವರತಿ, ದೇವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮೆಯ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಅಭಿನಯದಿಂದ ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಮನದಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರೆಯದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗುರುತು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಕಲಾಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಬಯಸದೆ,ಎಲೆಮರೆಯ ಕಾಯಿಯಂತೆ ಕಲಾಕೈಂಕರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು,ಸಹಕಲಾವಿದರನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವ ಗುಣಗ್ರಾಹಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಇವರು,ತನ್ನ ಸರಳ ಸೌಜನ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ದ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕಲಾಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜಾತಶತ್ರುವಾಗಿ ಮೆರದವರು.. ಯಕ್ಷಸಮೂಹ ಯಕ್ಷಕಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ(ರಿ)ಕುಂಜಾಲು ಎಂಬ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿ, ಅನೇಕ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಆಸಕ್ತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ದಾರೆಯೆರಿದಿರುವ ಇವರು,ಬಡಗುತಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಅನೇಕ ಬಡ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಹಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ..ತನ್ನ ಜೀವನವನ್ನೇ ಕಲಾಮಾತೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಮುಡಿಪಾಗಿರಿಸಿದ ಇವರು,ಹಲವಾರು ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಅಚ್ಚುಮೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಗುರುವಾಗಿಯೂ,ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾಗಿಯೂ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಕರಾವಳಿ, ಮಲೆನಾಡು,ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮುಂಬೈ,ಮೈಸೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತರಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಟವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ, ಅಪಾರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ಕೊಡಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ,ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ವಲಯ ವಿಪ್ರ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ, ಯಕ್ಷಸಮೂಹ ಯಕ್ಷಕಲಾ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ(ರಿ)ಕುಂಜಾಲು ಇದರ ದಶಮಾನೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುವಂದನೆ..25ನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ತಿರುಗಾಟ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಬಳಗದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ಅನೇಕ ಕಡೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ... ತನ್ನ ವೈಯುಕ್ತಿಕ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಳತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೈಗೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇವರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹೇಮಾ.ವಿ.ಬಾಸ್ರಿಯವರನ್ನು ಬಾಳ ಸಂಗಾತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನದ ಹವ್ಯಾಸಿ ಬಾಗವತರಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಆಗಿ ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್.ವಿ.ಬಾಸ್ರಿ ಎನ್ನುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಪುತ್ರನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಆದರ್ಶ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂದಾರ್ತಿ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಿಯು ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸಾರಿಕ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ,ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ,ಸುಖ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿ ಎನ್ನುವ ಸದಾಶಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ. 🌀ಯಕ್ಷ 💥ಮಂದಾರ🌀 ಬಳಗ.🙏 ✍️ ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ. 🎤 ಅಮೃತ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ. ವಾಹಿನಿಯ ಹೋಮ್ ಪೇಜ್ ಗಾಗಿ: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsrL. ಫೇಸ್ ಬುಕ್ ಪೇಜ್ ನ್ನು ಲೈಕ್ ಮಾಡಿ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೋಡಲೋಸುಗವಾಗಿ: https://www.facebook.com/groups/27334.

Mr. Vishnumurthy Basri was one of the veteran artistes who made his own footprint sculpture.

He was born as the second son of Srinivasa Basri and Saraswathi Amma of the Satviva Brahman family in Kunjal near Brahmavar in Udupi district.

Born into a brahmin family, he was a child and was a strangely young man who grew up in yakshagana and dedicated himself to the service of yakshakalamata.

The yakshagana gurus of Udupi, Neelavara Ramakrishnayya and Heranjalu Venkataramana, mastered the art of palagi in the garadi of The Ganigara. With an unlimited enthusiasm for yakshagana art, he became a monologue in his discipleship and became the inner disciple of the two masters and become the perfect artist of yakshagana.

He entered the stage as a balgopal attire at Moolki Mela and later served as a sakhi woman at kota amritswari mela. Later, he joined the Kamalastone Mela and became the chief female dresser. From there, she served as a leading female attire for a long time at The Saukur Mela and gained popularity with her mature acting. During the Saukur Mela, yakshagana's veteran artists Kodi Vishwanath Ganiga and Kota Suresh had acquired the perfect knowledge of the stage.

He is famous for his female character, the great esteem, the character's adventure, the beautiful voice, the beautiful voice, the beautiful dress, the beauty of the beauty of the charming beauty.

He has established yakshagana foundation kunjalu and has given his knowledge to many yakshagana interested students and has extended his hand to many poor artistes of Badaguthitt. He dedicated his life to the service of the mother of arts, became a favourite teacher of many disciples and a favorite artist of many fans.

He has a huge audience in the coastal, Malnad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Mysore and Uttara Karnataka region, with the Udupi District Rajya Sabha Award, Award by Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Brahmavara Zonal Vipra Parishad, Yakshagana Yakshakala Foundation (R) Kunjalu, who has a huge audience, was awarded with a silver crown on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
